Duration: 01\.10\.2026 \- until 30/06/2027 at first, extension to 30/06/2028 and beyond is expected with increased need for travel to Sunndalsøra.

Location: Oslo (Vækerø), with an increasing need for travel to Sunndalsøra throughout the assignment period. Alternatively, Sunndalsøra, with a corresponding need for travel to Oslo.

Assignment Description

• Ensure necessary level of detail for technical studies to support project milestones


• Supervise development of Electrical discipline including e.g. development of Electrical concepts


• Follow\-up and verification of specifications, diagrams, drawings and documents that will be produced by the engineering contractor


• Lead discipline follow\-up of technical clarifications


• Participate in technical evaluation, concept selection and value engineering processes


• Supervise discipline in development of viable concepts for brownfield scope


• Provide necessary input for estimation of selected solutions


• Supervise discipline in production of documentation deliverables


• Supervise discipline in development of technical documents for procurement processes


• Communicate and clarify the discipline activities towards all process areas and other interfacing disciplines


• Report activities progress within discipline as required


• Notify need of resources within discipline to meet project needs


• Participate in technical and system review activities


• Ensure that all relevant technology aspects are addressed to the right level


• Ensure that HSE acceptance criteria, objectives and strategies are satisfied within area of responsibility


• Implement all relevant regulatory and Company requirements within area of responsibility


• Plan and implement examination and verification activities, including interface towards others


• Ensure experience transfer


• Follow up risk and mitigation actions within discipline

• University degree/Master of science or equivalent


• Minimum 5 years of experience from multi\-discipline projects, preferably from similar position/role in industrial projects and with both new installations and modifications


• Good knowledge of statutory regulations


• Good knowledge of electrical distribution High Voltage and Low Voltage in an industrial environment (not only tertiary)


• Good knowledge of processes within an aluminium plant is an advantage


• Full professional proficiency in English and basic Norwegian or other Scandinavian language
