As part of our expansion plan, we are hiring Electrical Flight Controls Engineer on\-site position at our client premises in Toulouse Do you have a solid background in aeronautics and want to work on innovative projects? If so, we want you to be part of our team! As Electrical Flight Controls Engineer , you will play a crucial role in identifying, selecting, and leading the development of Electromechanical Actuators (EMA) for all regional aircraft control systems..
What will I do?
- Contribute to aircraft\-level architecture trade\-off studies in coordination with system architects;
- Analyze power requirements and identify installation constraints (location, electrical power supply, control buses);
- Draft technical specifications covering design, production, installation, and maintenance;
- Manage and coordinate suppliers;
- Prepare actuator testing procedures and system integration procedures;
- Contribute to certification documentation activities;
- Provide support to production, ground testing, and flight testing activities
REQUIREMENTS
- Solid knowledge of actuator technologies, particularly Electromechanical Actuators (EMA), including their mechanical, electronic, and control aspects. You also have proven experience with associated certification processes.
- Proficient in CAD tools, behavior simulation methods, and scientific computing languages.
- Knowledge of aerodynamics and aeroelasticity is considered valuable, while familiarity with flight dynamics and flying qualities would be an additional advantage.
- Organized, curious, and proactive, you are motivated to work on innovative technologies requiring a high level of rigor.
- Fluent English is required.
