Electrical Engineer
Join Our Growing Manufacturing Team
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our production team, manufacturing high\-quality industrial ovens for customers across a range of industries.
This is a varied and hands\-on role involving the assembly, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems used in industrial heating equipment. Working from electrical schematics and technical drawings, you will be responsible for building control panels, manufacturing wiring looms and chassis assemblies, and integrating electrical circuits into finished ovens.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and wire electrical control panels and machine wiring systems from schematic drawings.
- Integrate electrical circuits and components into industrial oven assemblies.
- Select and install appropriate cables and electrical components in accordance with EN 60204\-1 standards.
- Work with single\-phase and three\-phase electrical systems ranging from 1kW 230V to 60kW 415V.
- Install and test electrical filters, heating circuits, temperature sensors, control systems, and safety shutdown devices.
- Perform electrical inspections, fault finding, testing, calibration, and commissioning of completed equipment.
- Ensure all products leave the factory fully tested and operating to specification.
- Following training, provide occasional on\-site commissioning and warranty support at customer locations.
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience in electrical assembly, installation, or manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Experience working with both single\-phase and three\-phase electrical systems.
- Knowledge of cable sizing, component selection, and electrical safety standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- A reliable, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

Hours of Work
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:45pm
- Friday: 8:00am – 1:15pm
- Competitive hourly rate (£14 / £16 per hour depending on experience)
