Electrical Engineer \- Food Manufacturing / Airline Catering Company – London

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a growing Food Manufacturing / Airline Catering company based in London.

We are looking for a hands\-on engineer with strong electrical maintenance, fault\-finding, and manufacturing machinery experience.

Job Details:

• Location: London


• Salary: £55,000 per annum


• Position: Full Time


• No Sponsorship Available

• Maintain machinery and equipment to support production demands


• Carry out daily maintenance, including breakdowns and preventative maintenance


• Diagnose electrical faults and aim for first\-time fixes


• Work with PLCs, inverters, touch screens, and control panels


• Read electrical specifications and technical drawings


• Support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of production machinery


• Liaise with external maintenance contractors when required


• Keep work areas clean, safe, and organised


• Follow company hygiene, health and safety standards


• Communicate clearly with Production, Engineering, and Management teams

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment


• Electrically biased engineering background


• Strong understanding of electrical, electronic, maintenance, and mechanical systems


• Experience with PLCs, inverters, motors, pumps, conveyors, sealing machines, packing machines, depositors, and ovens


• 17th Edition or 18th Edition qualification preferred


• Basic understanding of mechanical systems


• Good fault\-finding and problem\-solving skills


• Able to work in a fast\-paced production environment


• Must be currently based in the UK with the right to work
