Electrical Engineer
The Role of an Electrical Engineer at DTE will involve being part of the installation of various services across the UK and EU to our valued clients. Because these projects often require immediate deployment, the ability to travel and work across the EU without visa or permit restrictions is an essential requirement for this role.
To be considered for this remote role, you must be able to confirm both of the following operational requirements.
- Requirement 1 (UK): I currently hold the unrestricted legal right to live and work in the UK (e.g., British/Irish citizenship, EU Settled/Pre\-Settled status, or a valid visa).
- Requirement 2 (EU): I currently hold the unrestricted legal right to travel and work permit\-free across the European Union (e.g., an EU/EEA citizenship/passport).
You will work in conjunction with the a Senior Engineer of the Projects Services team to ensure the high standards DTE are known for are achieved. You will be directly responsible for helping the growth of the company as we expand our Project Services division. You will have already of held a position of an engineer and understand the level of responsibility this role entails.
This role would be suitable for someone who has previously worked within the commercial construction industry but is looking for an industry that is somewhat different and focused more on quality and customer satisfaction.
The role will have direct progression for the right candidate, into senior engineer roles within the company as the division expands and grows organically.
The qualities we are looking for:

- Must possess the unrestricted right to work and travel within both the UK and the European Union (EU) without the need for visa or work permit sponsorship.
- Willing and able to work away from home frequently across the UK and Europe, as required at short notice.
- The engineer must be Electrically qualified to NVQ level 3 standard, have worked on commercial electrical installations across a range of installation types, and be able to show and demonstrate previous works completed.
- Ideally hold a valid C\&G Test and inspection qualification (2391 or equivalent) and be able to hold QS status with the NICEIC.
- Have previously installed, tested, and terminated data cabling from CAT5e to CAT6a.
- SSSTS or ability to complete course.
- Be a confident individual who can offer valid input when requested.

Headquartered in Milton Keynes, this role will be remote/on the road but may require training or breifings at the HQ in MK.
