Role \- Electrical Design Engineer
Location – Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire
iLECSYS Ltd are a leading system builder and distributor of electrical enclosures and electrical components. We offer the value\-added benefits of design, in\-house machining, assembly and wiring. We also have our own metal punching, forming and welding facility. Our customers are typically involved in the following industries: Water \& Wastewater, Automotive, Rail, Highways, Food Processing, HVAC, instrumentation etc.
Moving forward, iLECSYS are looking to expand their control panel business in both gearbox motor and pump control, and rail related Class II switchgear, and are therefore seeking to recruit an additional Electrical Design Engineer. You will be involved with developing and enhancing new and existing circuit solutions in line with company requirements and customer demands.

The Role
\- Develop and enhance new and current circuit solutions.
\- Utilising AutoCAD Electrical to produce various electrical layouts and schematics.
\- Working knowledge of simple PLC systems and programming software essential.
\- Create Bill of Materials (BOM's).
\- Prepare specifications and test requirements documentation
\- Test, develop and de\-bug designs
\- Develop and maintain relations with relevant internal departments
\- Review designs development for conformance with applicable standards
\- Support electrical panel production
\- Liaising with suppliers to order equipment and components.
\- Conducting risk assessments.
\- Attend and contribute to design reviews.
The successful candidate will need to have:
\- Experience in electrical engineering calculations for sizing cables and electrical equipment.
\- Previous experience designing electrical control panels and preferably experience in water and waste\-water treatment systems.
\- Ability to work efficiently as part of a busy design team
\- Commutable to Princes Risborough or happy to relocate to the area.
Job Types: Permanent, Full\-time
Pay: £35,000\.00\-£45,000\.00 per year
