Location: Biggleswade, Onsite
Employment Type: Full Time Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Shift: PM 2pm to 10pm (30 min paid lunch)
Salary: £33,280 \+ shift allowance £3994 \= £37,274 per annum

The Role
This is a full\-time, on\-site role for an Electronic Assembly Engineer located in Biggleswade. The Electronic Assembly Engineer will be responsible for assembling mechanical and electronic components, and electrical wiring.
Daily tasks include using hand tools to perform mechanical assembly, working with electronics manufacturing processes, and ensuring all products meet quality standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble CCTV systems, electronic enclosures, and tower components according to technical drawings and assembly instructions.
- Carry out wiring, crimping, and electrical connections with attention to quality and safety.
- Conduct functional testing and assist with quality assurance checks prior to dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment.
- Work collaboratively with engineers and technicians to improve assembly efficiency and resolve technical issues.
- Follow company procedures and contribute to continuous improvement in production processes.
- Assist with stock handling, component preparation, and workshop organisation as required.
- Previous experience working in a workshop or factory environment (electrical, mechanical, or assembly background preferred).
- Good practical skills and attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed instructions
- Ability to follow assembly instructions, wiring diagrams, and safety procedures.
- Basic understanding of tools, electrical components, and mechanical fittings.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- Experience supervising a small team
- Experience with CCTV systems, electronics, or electrical wiring.
- Use of Hand Tools, crimping tools, multimeters, and test equipment.
- Familiarity with low\-voltage systems and cable management.
- Forklift, PAT testing, or workshop safety training (advantageous but not essential).
- Knowledge of Electronics Manufacturing processes
