Your New Role As the EHCP Administrator, you will be the administrative heartbeat of the school's SEND provision. Working closely with the SENCo, Deputy SENCo, and external professionals, you will ensure that every student's educational framework is seamlessly managed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Annual Reviews: Coordinate, schedule, and manage the end-to-end process for students' Annual Reviews.
- Documentation & Minute Taking: Prepare comprehensive paperwork ahead of reviews and take accurate, professional minutes during meetings.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a key point of contact, communicating effectively with parents, local authorities, and multidisciplinary therapeutic teams.
- Compliance: Ensure all EHCP documentation is processed with a high level of accuracy and adheres to statutory timescales.
- School Support: Provide ad-hoc administrative support to the wider school team to contribute to a smooth-running educational environment.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and organization skills, with the ability to manage strict deadlines and prioritize a busy workload.
- Autism Awareness: A good understanding of the principles of autism education, or a genuine willingness to learn and develop your skills in this specialist area.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative, team-player attitude.
