About Pure Nails
Pure Nails is an ambitious and growing company within the professional beauty industry, based in Gillingham, Kent.
We supply professional nail products to salons, nail technicians and beauty professionals across the UK, alongside our growing nail training business.
We're looking for an Ecommerce Manager to take ownership of the growth and performance of our online sales channels, with a particular focus on our Shopify website and the online customer journey.
The Role
This is a hands\-on role with real ownership.
You'll be responsible for managing and continually improving our Shopify ecommerce store, using data, customer insight and commercial thinking to increase online sales, conversion and customer engagement.
You'll also support the ecommerce function of our nail training business, including the online course booking journey and development of our training offering online.
You'll work closely with our Marketing team, internal departments and external digital partners across SEO, PPC and website development.
We're looking for someone who understands ecommerce commercially and enjoys looking at what is happening, why it's happening and what we can do to improve it.
What you'll be doing
- Manage and optimise our Shopify ecommerce store.
- Develop and implement ecommerce strategies to increase online sales, traffic, conversion and customer engagement.
- Manage the ecommerce function for our nail training business, including the online course booking journey.
- Manage product listings, website content, merchandising and inventory.
- Work closely with the Marketing team on campaigns, promotions and new product launches.
- Manage and work with external SEO, PPC and website development partners.
- Monitor and analyse website traffic, sales, conversion, course bookings and customer behaviour.
- Provide clear ecommerce performance insights and recommendations to management.
- Identify opportunities to improve the online customer journey and conversion rate.
- Monitor ecommerce trends and competitor activity.
- Support the expansion of our ecommerce business into European markets.
- Identify and implement new ecommerce tools, systems and processes.
- Manage ecommerce projects from idea through to implementation.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver commercial objectives.
Essential:
- Proven experience working in ecommerce.
- Experience managing a Shopify website.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce, conversion and the online customer journey.
- Experience using ecommerce data and analytics to identify opportunities and make decisions.
- Experience working with SEO and Google PPC, either directly or through external agencies.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with different teams and external suppliers.
- A proactive, commercial approach with the ability to work independently.
- Basic HTML/CSS or website development knowledge.
- Experience with Google Analytics / GA4 and Google Search Console.
- Experience within the beauty, retail or training industry.
- Experience supporting ecommerce growth into international markets.
- Salary from £35,000 depending on experience
