Ecommerce Assistant

We are looking for a friendly and organised Ecommerce Assistant to join our small team at Green Heart Distribution Ltd.

This is a varied role mainly focused on customer service, website admin, digital marketing, product uploads, social media support and helping keep our online store running smoothly. There may also be occasional warehouse support during busier periods, such as helping with stock, packing or general order support.

The role would suit someone who is comfortable using computers, has good attention to detail, has an interest in ecommerce, social media and digital marketing.

Duties

Your day to day tasks may include:

• Responding to customer messages and order queries in a friendly and professional way


• Helping upload new products to our website


• Updating product descriptions, prices, images and stock information


• Checking website pages for errors, missing information or anything that needs improving


• Assisting with social media content, including ideas, posts, product features and simple videos


• Helping with basic digital marketing tasks, such as email campaigns or Google Ads


• Supporting the team with online sales channels such as Shopify, TikTok Shop, Amazon, Etsy or eBay


• Helping keep product information accurate and organised


• Sourcing new products


• Taking product photos or simple content for social media where needed


• Occasionally helping in the warehouse with packing, stock checks or preparing products during busy periods


• Supporting general admin tasks as needed

We are looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, reliable and organised


• Confident using a computer


• Good at written communication


• Able to pay attention to detail


• Comfortable learning new systems and software


• Interested in ecommerce, websites, social media


• Able to work independently once trained


• Happy to help with a mix of computer based and occasional practical tasks


• Positive, willing to learn and happy to be part of a small business

Our main ecommerce brand is The Vegan Candy Man \- an online confectionery business. We sell vegan pick and mix, chocolate, fudge, marshmallows and other sweet treats through our website and other online platforms.

We are looking for someone who can help us keep customers happy, add new products, support our marketing and generally help the business run smoothly.

Pay: From £13\.00 per hour
