Job Summary
Must hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Early Years.
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Teacher to join our vibrant educational team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their development through engaging activities and personalised care. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your management and leadership skills whilst making a positive impact on children's early learning experiences.
Duties
- Plan and deliver age\-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and social development.
- Supervise and support children during playtime, learning sessions, and mealtimes to ensure safety and engagement.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behaviour, and developmental milestones.
- Manage classroom resources effectively and organise activities that encourage creativity and exploration.
- Lead by example in demonstrating positive behaviour management strategies and fostering inclusive practices.
- Contribute to the ongoing professional development of staff through training sessions and team meetings.
- Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings or nurseries.
- Strong management and leadership abilities to oversee classroom activities and support team members.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Deep understanding of early childhood education principles and childcare best practices.
- Ability to organise engaging activities that stimulate learning while ensuring safety at all times.
- Good organisational skills with the capacity to plan ahead and adapt to changing needs.
- Valid driving licence is desirable for transporting children or attending off\-site activities.
Pay: £13\.00\-£19\.00 per hour
