Our Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Taunton is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Apprentice to join our team. You will play a key role in caring for, supporting and inspiring our children, encouraging curiosity and helping them thrive every day.

About Our Nursery

Our nursery setting offers a safe and stimulating environment where children can progress through their Early Years journey at their own pace. Our eight bright, airy playrooms are named after local fruits and tailored to each stage of a child’s development.

Our Taunton Nursery offers three vibrant gardens for safe, stimulating outdoor play, including mud kitchens and vegetable\-growing areas.

We also have a dedicated forest school practitioner guiding children in exploring nature, developing motor, social, and physical skills.

Activities

Engaging early years programmes include Sing and Sign, Boogie Mites, Make and Bake, and Yoga, plus local park outings to connect children with their community and environment.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Ensure that the children’s individual needs are identified and met

  • Supervise and support the children at all times

  • Carry out a wide range of interactive tasks including reading stories, helping at mealtimes, playing games, and changing nappies

  • Act as a positive, practical role model for the children

  • Develop friendly, professional relationships with staff members and parents

  • Ensure you fully understand and follow Safeguarding Procedures

  • Work towards gaining your Early Years qualification in a supportive and professional environment with hands\-on experience
