Early Careers Assistant
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading global law firm, to assist them in their search for a new Early Careers Assistant to join their team on a 12-month FTC basis.
Working as part of their collaborative team, the successful applicant will be responsible for supporting recruitment and development programmes across Early Careers.
Responsibilities will include:
- Screening applications, scheduling interviews, and organising and collecting feedback.
- Assisting with Early Careers events and programmes, coordinating room bookings and event logistics.
- Managing candidate administration including referencing and right to work checks; generating offer paperwork.
- Building and maintaining relationships with universities and law societies.
- Managing onboarding processes for new joiners.
- Attending law fairs and recruitment events.
- Maintaining the future trainee database, administering the payment of law school fees, and managing the onboarding process for trainee solicitors.
- Monitoring trainee development, tracking training entries, and preparing reports.
- Coordinating future trainee networking events.
- Drafting trainee related correspondence and issuing reference letters and salary amendments.
- Supporting induction and onboarding for the Solicitors Apprenticeship Programme.
- Managing invoice and expense processes for the Early Careers team.
- Responding to candidate and stakeholder queries.
Suitable candidates will have gained prior Early Careers or administrative experience, within a professional services environment. We are seeking applicants with exemplary attention to detail, communication, relationship building and organisation skills.
