E-Commerce Director

Polti S.p.A., a leading company in the design and manufacturing of steam appliances, is seeking an E\-Commerce Director to join and lead its E\-Commerce Department at its headquarters in Bulgarograsso (Como, Italy).

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing strategies to drive e\-commerce growth across Amazon, Marketplace, and Direct\-to\-Consumer (DTC) channels for the Polti Group and the entire product portfolio distributed through these channels. The primary objective will be to increase sales opportunities and ensure, together with the team, the achievement of sales and profitability targets while continuously expanding the business in the geographical areas identified as strategic priorities by the Board of Directors.

Key Responsibilities:

· Define strategies to maximize sales and brand visibility across Amazon, other marketplaces, and DTC channels.

· Lead negotiations of contracts with customers and suppliers.

· Define promotional activities and ensure the efficiency of sales operations across Amazon and marketplaces, including inventory management, logistics, and customer service, in collaboration with the relevant departments.

· Work closely with the Supply Chain team to define forecasts, inventory requirements, and sales projections, ensuring product availability and optimized stock levels.

· Partner with Marketing, Communication, and Social Media teams to ensure consistent brand messaging.

· Ensure the e\-commerce website is user\-friendly, visually appealing, and easy to navigate.

· Lead and develop the team responsible for Amazon, Marketplace, and DTC sales activities, ensuring effective and efficient execution.

· Monitor and analyze sales performance and customer behavior to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement, optimizing overall sales results.

· Participate in scheduled business meetings, including S\&OP, budgeting, forecasting, and P\&L reviews.

· Define and monitor channel KPIs in line with company objectives and manage channel budgets.

· Prepare periodic sales performance reports and present results to senior management.

Education \& Experience:

· Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or a related field.

· Proven experience managing Amazon, Marketplace, and DTC channels.

Technical \& Professional Skills:

· Excellent command of English.

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and e\-commerce platforms such as Magento and Shopify.

· Knowledge of SEO, SEM, CRO, and Google Analytics.

· Knowledge of Amazon Seller Central and/or Vendor Central.

· Experience in Digital Shelf Management.

· Knowledge of Cybersecurity and Data Privacy principles.

· Strong business acumen, planning and budgeting capabilities, and market analysis skills.

· Leadership and people management skills.

· Analytical thinking and decision\-making abilities.

· Excellent communication skills, critical and creative thinking, adaptability, flexibility, and customer orientation.

We offer a permanent employment contract under CCNL *Dirigenti di aziende produttrici di beni e servizi*, with a gross annual salary ranging from €85,000 to €100,000\.
