We are seeking a proactive and detail\-oriented E\-commerce and Operations Assistant to join our team and work on daily operations and online business activities. This role requires a strong communicator with excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
Key Responsibilities
General Office Administration
- Answer incoming calls and emails professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate filing systems and documentation.
- Support day\-to\-day administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations.
- Assist in managing the online stores, including product listings, pricing updates, and promotions.
- Monitor order fulfilment processes, ensuring timely dispatch and delivery.
- Coordinate with logistics partners for shipping and drop shipping arrangements.
- Handle customer queries and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
- Process orders, generate invoices, and manage credit control.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through prompt and effective communication.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Handle supplier queries, raise purchase orders, and prepare claims when necessary.
- Monitor supplier performance and escalate issues as needed.
- Work closely with finance, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Provide administrative support to internal departments as required.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements.
- Use Excel to analyse sales, inventory, and customer data.
- Create reports using pivot tables, lookups, and other advanced Excel functions.
- Identify trends and provide insights to support decision\-making.
- Ensure the office environment is clean, organised, and well\-maintained.
Technical Proficiency
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel (Lookups, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Experience with ERP/accounting software, preferably Microsoft Business Central or Dynamics NAV.
- Confident and articulate communicator, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
- Skilled in managing expectations and resolving conflicts diplomatically.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify actionable insights.
- Detail\-oriented with a problem\-solving mindset.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively in a fast\-paced environment.

Pay: From £26,500\.00 per year
