Hotel Duty Manager

The Park Hotel Dungarvan requires an experienced Hotel Duty Manager to join our management team. The Hotel is located in Dungarvan, ideal for all the Greenway activities and it's users. The Hotel has recently added 21 new family rooms to the newly refurbished guest bedrooms has 14 holiday homes available throughout the year along with conference/ function rooms as well as a busy Bar \& Restaurant. We are the Home to Dungarvan Weddings!

Responsibilities include:

• Assist the current Management in the day to day running of the hotel.


• Oversee the various departments \& liaise with department heads.


• Oversee functions and deal with any enquiries.


• Greeting hotel guests and ensuring they have a positive experience in the hotel \& dealing with guest complaints.


• To adhere and implement all health and safety procedures.


• To assist with staff training in all areas of the Hotel.


• To ensure a professional service is delivered at all times.

The Ideal candidate will have:

• Previous Hotel Management experience at management/supervisory level.


• An enthusiastic and professional attitude, with strong organisational and communication skills.


• Excellent customer service skills.


• Ability to manage a team.


• Computer literate (Hotsoft Front Office System or similar desirable but not essential).


• A strong food \& beverage background.


• Ability to work on their own initiative.


• Willing to learn from experienced management team.


• Reliable and trustworthy.
