Raheen House is a boutique hotel and wedding venue situated in the vibrant town of Clonmel, Co. Tipperary. We are looking to fill the role of Senior Duty Manager to assist with overseeing the day\-to\-day management of the hotel and support the Senior Managers and other department heads in their roles. We are a small business and this is very much a hands\-on role. This is a full\-time role, 40 hours per week. Salary will be negotiated based on previous experience and meeting the below requirements.

The ideal candidate will have:

1\. Two years of previous supervisory/ managerial experience\- ideally in a hospitality setting (duty manager, shift manager, assistant manager, supervisor, department head or general manager).

2\. A significant overall background in the hospitality industry. They should have a mix of experience in a range of areas (some or all\- customer service, manning of reception desk, setting up for functions, food and beverage service, weddings, invoicing etc).

3\. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills

4\. Excellent customer service skills

5\. Sales and cash\-handling experience

6\. Excellent organisational skills

7\. Experienced in food and beverage service

8\. A flexible approach to role, and willing to get stuck in wherever they are needed.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

i. Managing the hotel in the absence of the Senior Managers, assisting with overseeing the day\-to\-day management of the hotel and supporting the Senior Managers and other department heads in their roles.

ii. Meeting and greeting guests, answering phones

iii. Implementing all hotel policies and procedures and enforcing their implementation

iv. Contributing to the success of the hotel by implementing cost savings measures and increasing profitability where possible

v. Taking bookings

vi. Directing staff as required

vii. Setting up for functions

viii. Managing accounts and payments

ix. Ensuring that the highest standards of customer service are met and managing complaints

x. Contributing to our good reputation

xi. Overseeing quality control in all departments

xii. Ensuring the health and safety of staff and guests

xiii. Overseeing weddings and other functions

xiv. Food and beverage service

Job Type: Full\-time

Pay: €29,500\.00\-€33,000\.00 per year
