The Role
As Duty Manager, you’ll support the day\-to\-day running of the pub, helping to deliver exceptional operational standards, outstanding customer experiences, and a positive working environment for the team.
We’re looking for a confident, hands\-on leader who thrives in a fast\-paced hospitality setting and can help oversee front of house operations while maintaining the high standards Contemporary Pubs is known for.
Package
- Salary: £30,500 per annum
- Tips: circa £6,000–£8,000 per annum, paid monthly
- Full\-time, permanent position
- Based on a 45\-hour per week contract
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences and exceed guest expectations
- Support and motivate the front of house team through strong leadership and training
- Assist with the day\-to\-day management of the venue and service operations
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness and operational standards throughout the pub
- Support stock control, ordering, rotas, and labour management
- Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally and efficiently
- Ensure all health \& safety procedures are maintained and followed
- Lead by example to create a positive, professional, and energetic working environment
- Support management in driving sales, standards, and local reputation
- Previous supervisory or management experience within a pub, restaurant, hotel, or events environment
- A genuine passion for hospitality, food, and customer service
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Organised, reliable, and proactive
- A hands\-on team player with high standards and attention to detail
- Confident, enthusiastic, and personable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment
- IT competent, including basic spreadsheets and word processing
- Ambitious and motivated, with a desire to progress within a growing company

Experience
- Hospitality management or supervisory experience: 2 years required
