Driver & Warehouse Lead
Overview
The new Driver and Warehouse Lead will head up our small warehouse and van scheduler and drive our vans. This is a wide\-ranging role, perfect for someone who enjoys a busy and varied day, who can bring the energy and enthusiasm to keep a team motivated and on\-task.

What You'll be Doing
- Lead our House Clearance and MoveIt! enterprises to meet targets
- Manage daily warehouse logistics, schedules, bookings, customer communication,
- and resources
- Organise and/or carry out furniture and goods collections and deliveries with companions or volunteers
- Plan each day’s activities with the team to keep things running smoothly
- Become an expert on what items we can accept
- Report weekly and quarterly warehouse income
- Handle goods waste and recycling across sites and coordinate logistics for new
- projects
- Drive the vans whenever needed to collect and deliver goods in Bristol and surrounding areas
- Coach companions and volunteers working in warehouse\-related roles
- Provide induction and training for new starters in relevant work areas
- Lead by example, demonstrating best working practice and a strong work ethic
Experience
- Experience of driving Light Goods Vehicles
- Several years working in a busy industry (such
- as retail, warehousing, hospitality, events,
- face\-to\-face customer service)
- Dealing with customers and delivering
- excellent customer service
- Strong time management and organisation skills, with the ability to self\-manage and prioritise workload
- Able to participate in safely lifting and moving goods and other manual tasks working alongside others
- Able to carry out basic vehicle safety checks (training can be provided)
- Friendly and positive, even when having challenging conversations
- Highly adaptable with resourceful problem solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Timely record keeping
- Demonstrable IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and G\-suite
- Qualifications
- Maths and English Language GCSE Level 5 or equivalent
- Driver with full, clean UK compliant driving license
