Driver Recruitment Specialist
Greenmile Networks is a leading sustainable logistics business. Following a series of major new commercial contract wins alongside our natural expansion, we are significantly scaling our delivery operations. We have the fleet, the routes, and a dedicated compliance and onboarding team in place; we now require an experienced logistics recruiter to source the driving talent required to support this growth.
We are seeking a focused, results\-driven professional to help us secure an additional 100 multi\-drop van drivers ahead of our peak operational period.
The Role
This position focuses entirely on managing the initial stages of our driver recruitment pipeline. Your primary responsibility will be candidate attraction, initial vetting, and transferring qualified applicants to our internal onboarding team for final compliance clearance.
You will have full ownership of the driver attraction strategy, utilising targeted advertising and digital platforms to maintain a consistent volume of applicants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Execute targeted social media campaigns, manage local employment groups, and oversee sponsored job board campaigns (Indeed/Facebook) to maintain a consistent daily volume of applicants.
- Pre\-Screening: Conduct efficient telephone interviews to verify core criteria, including Right to Work status, driving licence validity, relevant experience, and availability.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain an accurate, live tracking database to ensure a seamless handover of qualified candidates to the compliance team.
- Network Building: Establish relationships within local transport and courier networks to access immediate pools of qualified driving talent.
- High\-Volume Recruitment Experience: A proven track record within logistics, transport agencies, or similar fast\-paced sectors.
- Resilience \& Professionalism: The ability to manage large applicant volumes efficiently and maintain a persistent approach to candidate engagement.
- Digital Literacy: Proficiency in utilising online job boards, professional networks, and social media platforms for targeted talent sourcing.
- Efficiency: A process\-driven approach focused on verifying compliance and suitability accurately and swiftly.
- £100 per day flat rate, paid weekly.
- £50 uncapped performance incentive for every driver successfully deployed on the road.
