Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Drainage Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and managing drainage systems for a variety of civil engineering projects. Duties

  • Develop detailed drainage system designs using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and MicroStation.

  • Prepare comprehensive schematics and system design documentation for civil engineering projects.

  • Conduct land surveying activities to gather accurate site data essential for system planning.

  • Utilise ArcGIS for spatial analysis and mapping to support project development.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints through effective project management practices.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, surveyors, and construction personnel to ensure seamless project execution.

  • Oversee construction phases by reviewing technical drawings and schematics, ensuring compliance with safety standards and client specifications.

  • Apply mathematical modelling tools such as Mathcad to analyse hydraulic performance and optimise drainage solutions.

  • Assist in the preparation of technical reports and system documentation for client review and approval.
Skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and CAD\-based design tools.

  • Strong knowledge of system design principles specific to drainage infrastructure.

  • Experience with land surveying techniques and tools relevant to civil engineering projects.

  • Competence in using ArcGIS for spatial data analysis and mapping purposes.

  • Familiarity with construction processes related to civil infrastructure development.

  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings accurately.

  • Project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders effectively.

  • Knowledge of relevant software such as Mathcad for hydraulic calculations and system optimisation.

  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in technical documentation. Pay: £24,420\.00\-£50,474\.71 per year
