Door Supervisor

Overview
We are seeking a professional and vigilant Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, a confident demeanour, and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment. This role involves monitoring access points, conducting surveillance, and implementing loss prevention measures to uphold the integrity of our venue. All applicants will be paid for their work, and training will be provided where necessary.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entry and exit points to control access and prevent unauthorised entry


• Perform regular patrols of the venue to identify potential security risks or suspicious behaviour


• Enforce venue policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety standards


• Assist in loss prevention by identifying theft or unauthorised activities


• Provide first aid assistance in case of medical emergencies until professional help arrives


• Maintain a visible presence to deter disruptive behaviour or violence


• Record incidents accurately in reports and communicate effectively with team members and management

Qualifications

• Prior experience in security, surveillance, or loss prevention is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided


• Valid first aid certification or willingness to obtain one prior to employment


• Strong observational skills with an eye for detail


• Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanour


• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations confidently


• Physical fitness to perform patrols and manage potentially confrontational scenarios effectively


• Drivers licence Preferred But not Essential

Pay: £14\.00\-£19\.00 per hour
