Cleaner – Residential Care Home

The role involves maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our 28\-bed residential care home.

Main duties include:

  • Cleaning residents’ bedrooms and bathrooms

  • Making and changing beds

  • Cleaning communal areas, lounges, corridors and other shared spaces

  • Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities

  • Carrying out scheduled deep cleaning throughout the home

  • Following infection prevention and control procedures

  • Using cleaning products and equipment safely

  • Reporting any maintenance, safety or hygiene concerns to the manager

  • Helping maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents

Work remotely: No

The successful candidate should be reliable, organised and able to work to high standards of cleanliness within a care home environment.

Job Types: Full\-time, Contract

Pay: From £12\.71 per hour
