Dog Walker and Pet Sitters required on a Self employed basis

To cover Swadlincote and surrounding areas (You must live nearby)

Do you love Animals? You may be perfect for our current dog walker and petsitter job

We are looking for a new steam members who want to help owners and provide the highest level of care for their pets .

You should have experience working with animals and be knowledgeable about the general needs of dogs, cats and other small pets (Pet ownership and previous pet sitting experience are both acceptable). You will be responsible for offering general care for a range of animals, along with walking and cleaning up after dogs of every breed and size.

You should be fairly fit and enjoy the outdoors, whatever the British weather throws at you.

Job Responsibilities

Dog Walking from Clients homes \- we only offer Solo dog walking so no group walks.

Clean up after, groom, exercise and provide care for cats, dogs and other small pets, litter box and cage cleaning at clients' homes.

Observe outdoor and indoor play to ensure the safety of the pet

Feed and provide water, based upon client instructions which may be very detailed and must be followed as given.

Respect clients’ homes and personal property when on\-site offering pet sitting services, including clearing up any pet messes.

Job Skills \& Qualifications

Must passionately care for animals fo all types.
Experience in pet care required.
Have a reliable vehicle and valid drivers license.
Ability to follow detailed instructions.
Have a phone with the ability to take photos and have mobile internet access.
Ability to work during holiday times and the occasional weekend.

We do offer overnight stays in clients' homes so we are also looking for staff that can cover this service on a self employed basis.

Maintain a degree of flexibility as sometimes appointments can be shifted, added or cancelled due to changes in client's schedules.

• Animal First Aid trained or willingness to obtain this.

Pay: £12\.71 per hour
