Burton Strolls is a 5⭐ licensed canine day care centre, providing a structured, enriching and welfare\-led environment where dogs can socialise, explore and rest safely throughout the day.
We are looking for an Apprentice Canine Day Care Assistant who is passionate about animal welfare and is looking to build a long\-term career within the canine industry.
This apprenticeship is ideal for someone who is committed to working with dogs as a profession and wishes to gain industry\-recognised qualifications whilst learning in a hands\-on environment.
Your Role
Working alongside our experienced team, you will learn all aspects of operating a professional canine day care, including:
● Supervising dogs within carefully managed social groups.
● Supporting safe introductions and monitoring canine behaviour.
● Preparing and delivering enrichment activities.
● Maintaining exceptional cleaning and hygiene standards.
● Carrying out daily health and welfare observations.
● Preparing daily report cards.
● Assisting with client handovers.
● Maintaining our indoor and outdoor facilities.
● Supporting the day\-to\-day running of the business.
● Capturing occasional photo and video content for our social media platforms.
