Disability Support Worker/Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Disability Support Worker/Driver to provide essential assistance to individuals with disabilities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well\-being. This role involves supporting clients in their daily activities, facilitating transportation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and demonstrate excellent driving skills to safely transport clients as required.Applicants must be over 25 with a full Licence for 2 years

Duties

• We are day Centre for adults who have a learning disabilty and offer various activities


• We are open five days per week Monday to Friday and four evenings, offering different skills ranging from Social, Pool, Bowling, Gateway. Day activities include Squash, Power Lifting,Recording Studio, Drama, Trips out,etc. We also arrange some Weekends away, and Holidays abroad.


• Strong driving skills with a valid licence and a clean driving record for transporting clients safely


• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage empathetically with adults of all ages


• Organised and dependable with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently


• Capable of behaviour management techniques tailored to individual needs
