The Team
Our Global Transaction Advisory Group (TAG) is the largest transaction advisory practice outside the Big Four. Our award\-winning practice includes over 1,000 professionals in over 40 offices across the United States, Middle East, Europe, Latin America, India, and Asia Pacific. We work for premium clients on a selection of deals sector\-wide. Our Transaction Advisory team has established Alvarez \& Marsal as one of the leading providers of financial due diligence globally and the leading firm to develop a fulfilling career in Transaction Advisory. How You Will Contribute
As a Director in our Transaction Advisory team in Paris, you will:
- Lead buy\-side and sell\-side financial due diligence engagements, providing clear insights into the key value drivers, risks, and opportunities of transactions.
- Manage and mentor teams, ensuring high\-quality analysis and effective communication of findings to senior stakeholders.
- Take responsibility for structuring projects, driving client deliverables, and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Act as a trusted advisor to Private Equity and corporate clients, helping them make informed investment decisions.
- Contribute to business development by supporting pitches, preparing proposals, and expanding client relationships.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across A\&M’s service lines, bringing an integrated approach to our clients.
- Play an active role in practice development, contributing to knowledge sharing, training, and recruitment initiatives.
- Strong academic background in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Engineering; an MBA, CFA, or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.
- Extensive financial due diligence experience gained at a Big 4 or leading advisory firm, with a proven track record in managing complex engagements.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to coach and inspire junior team members.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial data into strategic insights for clients.
- Proven ability to develop and manage client relationships, with experience in business development activities.
- Fluent in French and English; additional European languages are a plus.
