COMP360 has Breakthrough Therapy designation from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and has received Innovative Licensing and Access Pathway (ILAP) designation in the UK for treatment-resistant depression (TRD) due to the pressing unmet need in this area. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">We are currently in phase 3 for TRD, have completed phase 2 studies for both post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and anorexia nervosa and are planning a further late-stage study in PTSD. <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The Director, Payer Contracts is responsible for the establishment, operationalization, and oversight of the entire lifecycle of commercial and government payer contracts to support the successful commercialization of COMP360. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">This role will play a critical part in developing contract strategy, guidelines, policies/procedures to ensure that our overall strategic direction is properly deployed. In addition, the Director of Payer contracts is responsible for the preparation/submission of bids, execution of contracts, and monitoring of payers’ ongoing compliance with terms and conditions.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The Director of Payer Contracts will coordinate closely with matrix stakeholders to ensure that the trends affecting the needs of our key customer base properly align with the brands’ overall strategy and goals</span>. </p>
<p><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Location: </span></strong><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Hybrid in our New York City office or remote on the East Coast in the United States.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Roles and responsibilities <br></strong>(<em>Include but are not limited to</em>): </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Contract Operations &amp; Strategy Execution</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Establish <strong>formal policies/procedures for the entire contracting process</strong>, including touchpoints with all stakeholders</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Incorporate approved pricing/contracting strategies into <strong>formal Contract Guidelines</strong></span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Pressure test the rationale</strong> for each contract, and <strong>ensure that economic terms and conditions align with</strong> Compass’ overall <strong>strategic direction</strong></span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Provide input on pricing and non-price terms</strong>, including awareness of downstream and Government Pricing considerations, including potential implications on ASP and “buy and bill” model</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Finalize business cases to <strong>support the contract review and approval processes</strong></span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Adhere to payer requirements</strong> regarding portal management, bid processes/timelines, etc. <strong>needed to establish formal contracts</strong>.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Support negotiations and implementation of contracts</strong> in partnership with cross-functional teams</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Manage vendors that assist Compass with </strong>contract, rebate, and claims administration</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Monitor </strong>each contract appropriately for ongoing compliance.</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Contracting Strategy Support</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Contribute to</strong> <strong>pricing and contracting strategies</strong> at overall Payer level and individual payer-specific level scenario</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Understand</strong> how <strong>federal/state legislative changes and payer policy changes</strong> may impact contracts/strategy, customers, and other stakeholders</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Lead the design and refinement of contracting programs and pricing approaches</strong> responsive to market dynamics and customer needs<strong> </strong></span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration</strong></span></p>

<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Partner closely with <strong>Market Access, Legal, Finance, Brand, Field Sales, Data Management, and Government Affairs</strong></span></li>

<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Candidate Profile:</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field, Master’s degree preferred</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong Market Access business and financial acumen, with an emphasis on Biopharmaceutical experience in commercial and government payer contracts and pricing. </span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to work in a matrixed environment while demonstrating and aligning to Compass Pathways ways of working.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Robust understanding of pharmacy channel stakeholder economics, including Payers, Pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs), Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), </span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Working knowledge of Medical benefit products economics such as ASP pricing, physician reimbursement and interplay between Pharmacy and Medical contracting.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to develop insights and communicate effectively to influence executive level decisions.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">7+ years of work experience in Market Access and Payer contracts</span></li>
