The Marketing and Tranformation Department of Eminente is looking for a Director of Global Intelligence, Spirits and Still Wines.
Driving powerful insights across the spirits and still wines categories, markets, and competitors, this role will turn data into actionable strategies that empower Moët Hennessy senior leaders to make high\-impact business decisions. Crucially, this role collaborates closely with the Director of Global Intelligence, Champagnes and Sparkling Wines, to build a unified, total Moët Hennessy intelligence picture.
Job responsibilities
The Director of Global Intelligence, Spirits and Still Wines will lead an ecosystem of experts centrally and leverage experts in top markets (US, China, South Africa, etc.) to provide access to and analyze a range of syndicated industry, market, business, and brand data specific to the Hennessy and other Spirits categories.
This includes:
- Business/Industry Authority Data: Orchestrating and integrating data from sources such as IWSR, Nielsen, internal sell\-out data, Oxford Economics, and other relevant business/industry authorities.
- Consumer Data: Combining internal (brand health trackers, qualitative and quantitative studies, occasion\-driven studies) and external consumer data (trends from Stylus, media agencies, social listening, and other industry authorities).
Furthermore, this role is critical in creating an ecosystem of Intelligence by fostering cross\-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing. The Director of Global Intelligence, Spirits and Still Wines will also collaborate to deliver Marketing effectiveness in coordination with other leads in the Marketing and Transformation team , ensuring insights are seamlessly integrated into overall marketing strategies and initiatives.
Key Deliverables:
- Annual Market and Category opportunities and risks for Hennessy and other Spirits across specified key markets.
- Regular contextualized performance analysis of Hennessy and other Spirits versus markets and competitors.
- Ongoing business performance reporting of sales out (volume, value, price, promotion distribution, rate of sale) for the designated categories.
- Ad Hoc analysis on a wide range of topics from tariffs and trade agreements to mergers and acquisitions relevant to the Hennessy and Spirits sectors.
Profile
- Education \& Experience:
- + 15\+ years of experience in business intelligence, market research, or a related field, with a significant focus on the alcoholic beverage industry, specifically Hennessy and other Spirits.
+ Demonstrated experience in supporting the development of long\-term strategies and driving data into action for brand and trade planning at global, regional, and local levels within the specified categories and markets.
+ Experience managing and analyzing internal sales and retail audit/scan data from providers such as Nielsen /IRI/GfK, specific to Hennessy and other Spirits.
+ Experience working in Consumer\-Packaged goods companies is required, and experience in the wine and spirits sector is highly regarded.
+ Demonstrated experience gaining access to the agenda, influencing at the executive level, and within a multinational organization.
Demonstrated experience in scenario development and analysis.

- Languages: Fluent in both spoken and written English and French is a plus.

- + Deep understanding of business, brand, and commercial strategy and planning in a B2B2C/CPG environment.
