An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Services Sales Leader to join a growing and ambitious boutique wealth management firm as Director of Financial Advice (Sales).
This is a pivotal leadership role within a highly successful and forward-thinking financial planning business that is entering an exciting phase of growth. The firm has built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality financial advice and is now seeking an exceptional leader to drive adviser performance, attract top talent and help shape the next stage of the company's development.
Working closely with the Managing Director and wider leadership team, you will have significant influence over the strategic direction of the business, taking ownership of adviser recruitment, development, performance and commercial growth.
The Opportunity
This role offers a unique blend of leadership, business development and strategic responsibility. You will be responsible for creating a high-performance advice function, ensuring advisers are fully supported, motivated and equipped to achieve exceptional client and commercial outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Recruiting, attracting and onboarding high-calibre Financial Advisers
- Developing and implementing adviser training, mentoring and development programmes
- Establishing and monitoring meaningful performance metrics and KPIs
- Driving adviser productivity, revenue growth and business performance
- Coaching advisers to maximise client outcomes and commercial success
- Creating a culture of accountability, professionalism and continuous improvement
- Working closely with the Managing Director on business strategy and growth initiatives
- Identifying new opportunities for expansion and adviser recruitment
- Supporting advisers with business development strategies and client acquisition
- Acting as a senior ambassador for the business across industry networks and events
- Proven leadership experience within Financial Planning, Wealth Management or Financial Services
- Strong track record of leading successful adviser or sales teams
- Demonstrable experience recruiting, developing and managing high-performing professionals
- Excellent understanding of regulated financial advice and compliance requirements
- Commercially astute with a strong focus on growth and business development
- Outstanding leadership, coaching and communication skills
- Ability to influence, motivate and inspire high performance
- Strategic thinker with strong operational execution capabilities
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning desirable but not essential
- £60,000 - £75,000 basic salary depending on experience
