Director Market Access

We are seeking a Director, Regional Market Access, Rare Diseases, Europe to join our market access function, supporting our Europe region in a hybrid work mode. In this role, you will shape pricing, reimbursement, and patient access strategies while collaborating with global, regional, and local teams. Discover your role:
- Lead rare disease access strategies aligned with global objectives and country needs.
- Differentiate approaches across cost\-effectiveness and list\-price or free\-pricing markets.
- Monitor European policies, payer trends, and reimbursement frameworks.
- Adapt global access tools and value propositions for regional stakeholders.
- Manage health technology assessment dossiers, pricing negotiations, and reimbursement submissions.
- Partner with medical affairs and access teams on evidence and health economics outcomes research plans.
- Engage payers, policymakers, advocacy groups, and public affairs teams to advance access.
- You build collaboration through advisory boards, market research, and landscape assessments.
This role requires:
- Ten years’ pharmaceutical experience, including eight years in market access.
- European rare disease pricing, reimbursement, launches, and approval experience.
- Expertise in payer systems, economic models, and health technology assessment submissions.
- Knowledge of NICE, ZIN, TLV, QALY frameworks, and free\-pricing markets.
- Advanced life sciences, health economics, or business degree preferred.
- English fluency; additional European languages are advantageous.
- Strong communication, data synthesis, matrix leadership, agility, and collaboration.
- Healthcare policy shaping and multi\-stakeholder engagement experience preferred.
