About this role

Ready to lead our enterprise regulatory strategy and deliver meaningful ESG strategy across international markets? As our Director Global Public Affairs \& ESG within the Legal team, you will shape policy positions, build trust, and care for our platform ecosystem. You’ll empower high\-performing teams, drive sustainability ambitions, and ensure our public standing reflects our values—protecting our operating model while making a lasting, positive impact across communities.

Location: Amsterdam or London Reporting to: General Counsel

These are some of the key components to the position:

• Own and define JET's global public affairs strategy, advocacy priorities, and legislative engagement frameworks across international markets.


• Shape the enterprise regulatory agenda to anticipate policy developments, protecting our commercial model and driving proactive influence strategies.


• Act as our primary voice in policy forums, maintaining strong senior relationships with regulators, government stakeholders, and industry bodies.


• Design ecosystem partner engagement and license\-to\-operate frameworks that build sustained trust, political capital, and social impact.


• Lead the global enterprise Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy, disclosure frameworks, and sustainability reporting governance.


• Guide cross\-functional teams and strategic responses during high\-profile political, regulatory, or reputational scenarios.


• Build and mentor a collaborative, high\-performing Public Affairs and ESG team to drive continuous impact and functional excellence.

• Deep expertise in driving multi\-market public affairs, public policy, and sustainability strategies for complex organizations.


• Advanced command of policy and regulatory landscapes affecting consumer technology, platform economies, or gig economy business models.


• Proven capability to establish trusted advocacy positions and constructive relationships with senior policymakers and regulatory authorities.


• Strong leadership skills to build scalable public affairs frameworks that balance enterprise strategy with local market relevance.


• Outstanding communication and coalition\-building skills to collaborate effectively with Legal, Communications, and executive leadership teams.


• Sound judgment in navigating high\-profile or sensitive matters, setting principles that protect brand reputation under pressure.


• Demonstrated ability to empower, coach, and inspire high\-performing global functional teams to perform at their best.
