Digital Transformation & Solution Consultant - Industrial Software & OT (F/M/N)

Purpose of the Role

As part of Yokogawa France's Digital \& Emerging Solutions (DES) organization, you will act as a trusted advisor and technical expert for industrial customers undergoing digital transformation initiatives.

You will support customer engagements from the earliest presales discussions through implementation, commissioning, and lifecycle support, helping customers unlock value from industrial data, cloud technologies, digital platforms, and OT/IT convergence solutions.

Success in this role requires a blend of consulting capability, technical expertise, customer engagement skills, and hands\-on implementation experience.

Your Main Responsibilities

Customer Engagement \& Presales Support

• Support Business Development Managers during customer meetings, workshops, and solution discussions.


• Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof\-of\-concept activities.


• Understand customer challenges and translate business requirements into practical digital solutions.


• Contribute to solution proposals, technical specifications, and project quotations.


• Strengthen Yokogawa's competitive position through technical expertise and customer trust.

• Analyze customer requirements and define solution architectures aligned with customer objectives.


• Translate operational and business needs into functional and technical designs.


• Advise customers on industrial digitalization, cloud technologies, data integration, and OT cybersecurity best practices.


• Support customers throughout their digital transformation journey.

• Lead or support the implementation of Yokogawa digital solutions and software platforms.


• Perform installation, configuration, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.


• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with scope, quality, budget, and schedule requirements.


• Support solution lifecycle activities and customer adoption.

• Work closely with local and international Yokogawa teams, including solution specialists and product experts across Europe and Japan.


• Share technical knowledge and best practices throughout the organization.


• Support internal capability development related to Digital Transformation, Industry 4\.0, Industrial Data Platforms, and OT Cybersecurity.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, Industrial Informatics, Data Engineering, Digital Transformation, Cloud Technologies, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline.

• Experience in industrial digital transformation, industrial software, Industry 4\.0, automation, or technical consulting environments.


• Experience supporting customers through presales, solution delivery, implementation, or professional services activities.


• Experience working directly with industrial customers in sectors such as Energy, Utilities, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Manufacturing, or Oil \& Gas.

You bring experience in several of the following areas:

• Industry 4\.0 and Digital Transformation solutions


• Industrial Software Platforms


• Industrial Data Integration


• OT/IT Convergence


• Industrial Cloud Solutions (Azure, AWS, or equivalent)


• Middleware and Integration Platforms


• Industrial Communication Protocols (OPC\-UA, MQTT, Modbus or similar)


• Asset Performance Management and Industrial Analytics


• Manufacturing Digitalization


• OT Cybersecurity principles and standards

Knowledge of one or more of the following is considered a strong advantage:

• IEC 62443


• NIS2 Directive


• ANSSI recommendations


• Industrial OT Cybersecurity best practices

• Customer\-focused consulting mindset


• Strong communication and presentation skills


• Ability to explain complex technical topics to diverse audiences


• Project management and coordination capabilities
