Location: Liberty Woodland School, Morden
Hours: 16 hours per week
Annual Leave: 5\.6 weeks (inclusive of bank holidays, to be taken during school holidays)

Liberty Woodland School is seeking a Digital Storyteller \& Content Creator to help capture and share the life of our school.
This is not a traditional marketing role. We are looking for a thoughtful, observant and creative person who enjoys noticing the small moments of learning, curiosity and collaboration that define childhood. You will spend time in school documenting real moments and turning them into simple, beautiful digital stories that help families understand the spirit of our community.

The Role
You will spend time in school observing and documenting learning as it unfolds, filming and photographing authentic moments and turning them into engaging digital stories.
Your work will help prospective families understand the ethos of the school and allow our existing community to see and celebrate the learning taking place.
You will create thoughtful and visually engaging content across our digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Storytelling \& Content Creation
- Capture authentic moments of school life through short\-form video and photography. Create engaging Instagram Reels and short videos
- Design visual content that reflects the culture and philosophy of the school
- Write thoughtful captions and short stories to accompany posts
- Document projects, exhibitions and learning journeys Digital Publishing
- Manage and grow the school’s presence on social media platforms
- Schedule and publish content throughout the year, including during school holidays Contribute to blog posts and longer storytelling pieces
- Support the creation of admissions and website content
- Build a growing visual archive of photographs and video for the school
- Develop ideas for new storytelling formats
- Work closely with staff and students to capture meaningful learning experiences
- Help shape the digital voice and visual identity of Liberty Woodland School
- Spending time around the school getting to know the community and observing learning
- Capturing short videos of outdoor learning and project work
- Creating your first “Day in the Life” reel showing a typical morning at the school
- Interviewing a student about a project they are proud of
- Photographing quiet moments of collaboration and creativity
- Scheduling a series of posts introducing the school’s philosophy to new audiences
- Beginning to build a library of images and footage for future storytelling
- Is a natural storyteller with a strong visual eye
- Enjoys observing and capturing authentic moments
- Is confident filming and editing short video content
- Has strong writing and communication skills
- Is organised and able to plan and schedule content
- Is comfortable working in a school environment
- Is curious about education and how children learn
Experience with tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, Canva or similar would be helpful, but we are most interested in creativity, judgement and storytelling ability.
