Klättermusen is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist (12-month cover).
Since 1975 Klättermusen has been a pioneer in making refined Scandinavian Mountaineering Equipment. The designs combine utility and extreme durability, always with consideration of the environment in mind. Klättermusen supports and inspire outdoor enthusiasts through unforgiving weather conditions and unpredictable terrains. We’re looking for a driven and analytical Digital Marketing Specialist to take ownership of our paid media efforts and help scale both performance and brand awareness across digital channels. This is a 12-month maternity cover starting August 2026, with the possibility of becoming a permanent position.
About the Role:
In this role, you will own and execute a full-funnel paid media strategy, ensuring strong performance while supporting our long-term brand ambitions. You’ll work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to drive impactful campaigns and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and execute a full-funnel paid media strategy supporting both performance and brand goals
Manage and plan digital media budgets across channels including Paid Search, Paid Social, and Programmatic
Lead and manage our paid media agency, ensuring high-quality execution, reporting, and delivery
Act as an internal project manager for paid media and creative assets, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders
Analyze campaign performance (traffic, revenue, ROAS, awareness, etc.), provide actionable insights and lead the channel reporting
Drive digital marketing improvements through audits, gap analysis, and implementation of optimizations
Collaborate closely with the Klättermusen creative team to ensure the right assets for each channel, especially within Paid Social
Collaborate closely with our e-commerce, marketing, and retail teams, working toward shared goals across the full funnel

Who You Are:
We believe you are a data-driven and commercially minded marketer with a hands-on approach and a self-starting mindset to digital advertising.

Requirements


3+ years of experience in digital marketing, managing paid media budgets, performance, and creative assets (agency experience is a strong plus)
Expertise within performance marketing, attribution, and data-driven optimization, including strong understanding of media buying across Paid Social, Search, and Programmatic
Strong project management skills, with experience leading projects and taking ownership end-to-end
Hands-on experience in Paid Social and creative asset strategy
Experience with platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, and GA4
Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable strategies
Comfortable presenting insights and recommendations, and building strong stakeholder relationships
Collaborative, communicative, and able to work across teams and functions
Degree in marketing, business, media, or a related field
Experience in affiliate marketing (a plus!)
Experience working with global e-commerce and retail brands
