Digital Marketing Intern

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail\-oriented Digital Marketing Intern to join our dynamic marketing team. This paid / voluntary internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in digital marketing strategies, content creation, and campaign management. The successful candidate will support various projects across social media, SEO, email marketing, and analytics, contributing to the growth and visibility of our brand. A strong interest in marketing, excellent communication skills, and organisational abilities are essential for success in this role.

Duties

• Assist in managing social media platforms by scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and analysing engagement metrics


• Create content on site curating visual reels that have a direct impact on the audience


• Design mood boards for potential customer meetings


• Support SEO optimisation efforts through keyword research and content optimisation on platforms such as WordPress


• Contribute to the development and execution of email marketing campaigns using relevant tools


• Help create compelling copy for digital content including blogs, newsletters, and advertisements


• Support project management activities by coordinating tasks and tracking progress using organisational tools


• Analyse campaign performance data using Google Analytics and other analytical tools to inform future strategies


• Collaborate with the team on B2B marketing initiatives and contribute ideas for innovative marketing approaches


• Utilise Adobe Photoshop for basic image editing to enhance visual content


• Assist in managing Google Ads campaigns to optimise reach and engagement


• Prepare presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint and reports with Microsoft Excel to communicate insights effectively


• Maintain organised records of marketing activities and assist in general management tasks related to digital marketing projects

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a relevant degree programme or recent graduate with a keen interest in digital marketing


• Some interest in interior design / home renovations


• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently


• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with IT tools relevant to digital marketing


• Basic knowledge of management principles, project management practices, and social media management tools


• Experience or familiarity with SEO techniques, WordPress platform, Google Ads, Google Analytics, and email marketing platforms is desirable


• Creative copywriting skills with an eye for detail and visual aesthetics using Adobe Photoshop


• Analytical mindset with good analysis skills to interpret data insights effectively


• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team with leadership potential is advantageous


• Strong time management skills ensuring deadlines are met consistently

This internship provides valuable hands\-on experience within a professional environment dedicated to innovative digital marketing practices.

Pay: £28,420\.00\-£47,118\.94 per year
