About the Role

Are you an organised and creative storyteller who loves building scroll\-stopping digital content and high\-quality campaigns?

We are looking for a part\-time Digital Marketing Executive to lead our social media presence, capture content, support product launches and campaigns, and help tell the global story of Rugged Interactive.

This will be a varied role where each week is different – you might be editing images for the website, helping build campaigns across social and email, keeping the content calendar up to date or feeding into the marketing strategy. And you’ll be working in the fun and unique indoor play industry, which encompasses trampoline parks, indoor playgrounds and family entertainment centres.

As our Digital Marketing Executive, you won’t just be pushing corporate updates \- you will have a treasure trove of visually stunning, LED\-lit, high\-energy products to film, photograph, and experiment with.

What You’ll Do

Working with the marketing team, you will be the driving force behind our content, from product launches and case studies to social and email campaigns.

  • Content generation \- research, plan and create a schedule of relevant and meaningful content to be used across different social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube)

  • Copywriting \& storytelling – Generate creative and engaging content for a range of marketing material, including blogs, case studies and newsletter, with a primary focus on social media.

  • Digital marketing – Support in keeping our website up to date (WordPress), including resizing and uploading images, updating manuals and product pages, uploading case studies and reviewing content for SEO.

  • Collaboration – Brainstorm and conceptualise creative briefs with the marketing team.

  • Photography – Capture and edit photo content to be used in marketing and sales material. This may require occasional on\-site visits to local venues and our Bodmin development hub.

  • Videography – Occasionally film and edit basic product, testimonial and case study videos, overlay music and text.

  • On\-site content – Visit UK customer sites (with potentially some sites overseas) and our Bodmin warehouse to capture testimonials, handovers and demo videos.

  • Idea generation – Develop creative ideas, suggest new innovative ways of delivering digital content and keep up to date with the latest digital marketing trends.

  • CRM support – Assist the team in keeping our CRM database updated.

  • Manage social media platform activity – Respond to messages and comments and build our networks.
Your Skills
  • Confident with writing and scheduling social media posts and implementing content across digital platforms.

  • Comfortable using email marketing platforms and able to assist with the design and implementation of mailshots to our database.

  • Confident using basic video editing software such as CapCut and Premier Rush.

  • Experience uploading content to websites (WordPress) with a basic understanding of SEO.

  • Confident to collaborate with and brief the Design Team on social and email graphics.
Desirable Skills
  • High\-quality video editing

  • Knowledge of SEO and SEO copywriting

  • Familiar with paid advertising through Facebook and LinkedIn

  • Knowledge of Google Advertising and Google Analytics

  • Experience of creating and implementing customer surveys
How You Work

  • Comfortable with multi\-tasking and managing several projects at one time.

  • Friendly, outgoing, positive and good fun – we think a sense of humour is essential for good team working.

  • Collaborative team player \- challenges are often best overcome together.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Comfortable using your initiative and being proactive.

  • Able to work without the need to be supervised (after your initial training, of course!) and comfortable completing work from start to finish.

  • Interested in exercise and play with a competitive spirit – it’s at the core of what we do.
Experience Required

Minimum of 2 years experience in the main elements of the role, as detailed above, notably social media and email marketing, basic video capture and editing, content calendar planning and website editing.

Working Arrangements

  • Part\-time \- 3 days per week (22\.5 hours)

  • This role is initially offered as a 6\-month fixed term basis

  • Office\-based in Future Space on the UWE Campus in Bristol. Working days are Tues\-Thurs. There may be occasional days working from home or from our HQ in Bodmin, Cornwall

  • Occasional visits to UK customer sites to capture testimonials case study images and demo videos etc.

  • You will need to be able to get tour office on the UWE Campus in Bristol. Parking is available.
What You’ll Get
  • Salary Range: This role offers a starting salary of £27,000 \- £30,000 pro rata, depending upon relevant experience.

  • NEST Pension scheme 5% employee and 3% employer contributions.

  • 22 days annual leave (pro\-rated), plus bank holidays and 3 days closure over Christmas period.

  • Two company\-wide socials per year, either in Cornwall or Bristol.
After passing 3\-month probation:

  • £50 for your Birthday and Birthday Day Off
