About the role

We are looking for a talented and commercially minded Digital Marketing \& E\-commerce Executive to join our growing business.

You will be responsible for managing the day\-to\-day digital marketing activity across three brands:

● Rosser Hairdressing – our luxury Liverpool salon

● Rosser Hair – our professional haircare and e\-commerce business

● Really Hair Extensions – our new premium hair extensions brand launching soon

This is a hands\-on role for someone who understands how digital marketing can drive brand awareness, website traffic, enquiries, bookings and online sales.

Our websites use both Shopify and WordPress, so you should be comfortable working across both platforms or be confident learning them quickly.

Working hours

The working week is Tuesday to Friday, totalling 30\.5 hours per week:

● Tuesday: 8 hours

● Wednesday: 9:30am to 3:00pm, 5\.5 hours

● Thursday: 8 hours

● Friday: 8 hours

Key responsibilities

SEO

● Manage ongoing SEO across all three websites

● Carry out keyword research and competitor analysis

● Optimise website pages, content and metadata

● Create and optimise landing pages

● Develop blog and content strategies

● Improve organic rankings, website traffic and conversions

● Manage local SEO for Rosser Hairdressing, with a strong focus on Liverpool

Meta advertising

● Create, manage and optimise Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns

● Develop target audiences and retargeting campaigns

● Test advertising creative, messaging and targeting

● Monitor budgets and campaign performance

● Report on enquiries, bookings, sales and return on advertising spend

Website management

● Manage and update websites built on Shopify and WordPress

● Make basic website edits and content updates

● Create and update website pages, banners and promotional content

● Manage Shopify products, collections, variants and pricing

● Update WordPress pages, blog posts and website content

● Identify website issues and liaise with developers when required

● Help improve the customer journey and website conversion rate

E\-commerce

● Upload and manage products across our Shopify stores

● Write and optimise product descriptions

● Add product images, pricing, variants and collections

● Maintain accurate website content and stock information

● Support new product launches and promotional campaigns

● Identify opportunities to increase online sales

Social media

● Plan and manage social media content across all three brands

● Create engaging captions and content

● Schedule posts and campaigns

● Support Reels, Stories and promotional activity

● Monitor engagement and identify opportunities to grow our audiences

● Ensure each brand maintains its own tone, style and identity

Analytics and reporting

● Monitor website traffic, SEO performance, social media and advertising results

● Track enquiries, bookings and online sales

● Prepare regular reports and recommendations

● Use data to identify what is working and where improvements can be made

About you

We are looking for someone who is:

● Experienced in digital marketing and SEO

● Confident managing Meta advertising campaigns

● Comfortable working with both Shopify and WordPress

● Experienced with e\-commerce platforms and website content management

● Confident making basic website changes

● Social media savvy and able to create engaging content

● Commercially minded and focused on achieving results

● Highly organised and able to manage multiple brands

● Proactive and able to identify opportunities

● Creative, while also being analytical

● Comfortable working independently

● Able to take ownership and work without constant direction

● Confident learning new tools and platforms quickly

Experience with Shopify, WordPress, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Meta Business Suite and SEO tools would be advantageous.

The ideal candidate

You do not need to be an expert in every area of digital marketing, but you should have a good understanding of the digital marketing landscape and be confident learning quickly.

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who can implement ideas and complete the work, not just make recommendations.

We want someone who can look at our websites, social media, SEO and advertising and say:

“Here is what I think we should improve, and here is how I am going to do it.”

Salary

The salary for this role is £23,790 per year, based on:

● 30\.5 hours per week

Calculation: 30\.5 × £15 × 52 \= £23,790

This is the gross salary before deductions, including income tax, National Insurance and any workplace pension contributions.

The salary does not include separate budgets or fees for:

● Meta advertising spend

● Google advertising spend

● Website development

● Professional photography or videography

● Influencer fees

● Specialist SEO tools

● Freelance design or technical support
