As the business continues to grow, we're looking for a creative, enthusiastic Digital Marketing Assistant to join our team in Ormskirk.

This is an entry\-level role and would be ideal for someone leaving university or at the beginning of their marketing career who wants the opportunity to learn quickly, get involved in a wide variety of projects and build real\-world marketing experience.

The Role

Working alongside our Head of Marketing \& Growth and the wider e2 team, you'll support the delivery of our day\-to\-day digital marketing activity.

This is a varied, hands\-on role covering social media, content, design, website updates, email marketing, events and sales collateral.

You don't need years of experience. We're looking for someone who is creative, organised, digitally confident and keen to learn.

An interest in graphic design and experience using Canva or similar design software would be particularly useful.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and schedule content across e2 Energy Partners' social media channels, particularly LinkedIn

  • Help create graphics, infographics, social posts and simple marketing materials using Canva or similar software

  • Support the creation of brochures, flyers, presentations and sales collateral

  • Assist with website content updates and uploading blogs, news and case studies

  • Help write and format social media posts, articles, email campaigns and other marketing content

  • Support email marketing campaigns and database activity

  • Help source industry news, statistics, trends and content ideas

  • Assist with basic video and visual content for social media

  • Support marketing activity surrounding exhibitions, conferences, webinars and events

  • Help monitor social media and digital marketing performance

  • Maintain organised marketing files, imagery and brand assets

  • Liaise with colleagues and external suppliers where required

  • Support the wider team with ad\-hoc marketing and business development materials
About You

We're not looking for someone who already knows everything.

We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic about marketing, has a good eye for content and design, and wants an opportunity to develop their skills within a growing business.

You might be a recent graduate in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, Media, Communications, Business or a related subject, although a degree is not essential if you can demonstrate the right skills and attitude.

Ideally, you'll have:

  • A genuine interest in marketing, social media and digital content

  • Good written English and attention to detail

  • A creative eye for layouts, graphics and visual content

  • Some experience using Canva or another design platform

  • Confidence using social media, particularly LinkedIn

  • Good general IT and digital skills

  • Strong organisational skills

  • The ability to manage several small projects at once

  • A willingness to learn and get involved

  • The confidence to bring new ideas to the team
Experience with any of the following would be an advantage, but is not essential:
  • Canva Pro / Adobe Creative Suite

  • WordPress or other website CMS platforms

  • Mailchimp or email marketing platforms

  • LinkedIn company pages

  • Video editing

  • SEO

  • Google Analytics

  • Photography or content creation
