Digital Data Analyst
Marketing Team \| HQ Netherlands, Amsterdam \| 32–40 hrs/week
The Role
As our Digital Data Analyst, you will be the driving force behind reliable data tracking, meaningful performance insights, and data\-driven decision\-making across all of our digital marketing channels. You will sit within the Marketing team and work closely with our Performance Specialist, Website Specialist, and Developer to ensure we always have a clear, accurate, and actionable view of what is happening across our digital ecosystem.
This is a high\-ownership role. You will not just report numbers, you will shape how the team understands and acts on data.
What You Will Do
*Tracking \& Data Integrity*
- Own and maintain our full tracking setup across GA4, GTM, pixels, and events
- Ensure accurate and consistent data collection across all digital channels
- Validate data quality, troubleshoot discrepancies, and work with developers on implementation
- Analyse performance across paid, organic, and website channels
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies and translate them into clear recommendations
- Proactively flag risks and opportunities that impact performance
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate insight generation and data exploration
- Own weekly and monthly performance reporting across key KPIs
- Ensure clear visibility on efficiency metrics
- Provide structured insights alongside data, not just numbers
- Validate performance data across platforms and clarify what is driving results
- Design and support A/B tests in collaboration with the Website Specialist and
- Document test learnings and ensure they are applied to future decisions
*Must\-Haves*
- 3\+ years of experience in digital analytics, web analytics, or marketing analytics
- Strong hands\-on experience with GA4 and Google Tag Manager
- Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights
- Strong analytical mindset with sharp attention to detail
- Experience with A/B testing and experimentation methodologies
- Fluent in English
- In possession of, or willing to obtain, a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG)
- Basic knowledge of SQL or HTML/CSS
- Experience using AI tools to support data workflows
- GA4 or GTM certification
- Background in performance marketing, e\-commerce, or subscription businesses
- Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field
- A role with real ownership and direct impact on marketing performance
- An international, data\-driven team of 4–5 digital specialists within a broader Marketing team of \~15
