We are a looking for a talented Digital Architect who will lead the design and implementation of innovative digital solutions across our customer's mobile and web platforms. You will guide the development of scalable, user\-centric applications, ensuring alignment with business goals and technology standards.
We are looking for people with ideally the below background:
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience working in a technology role
- 5\+ years in a technical role, across IT, with an additional 3\+ years enterprise experience as a senior Software Engineer or Architect
- Development knowledge especially for Mobile App and Web. Full end to end development, including backend and integration
- Cloud Architecture certification (AWS preferable)
- A good understanding of Micro\-services architecture patterns and technologies
- Knowledge of Architecture methods like Togaf
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Alignment and understanding of business goals and priorities
- Ideally some software development using frameworks like Java and Flutter would be advantageous
- Ideally some Architect exposure to Cloud computing solution (AWS preferred)
- Ideally some End to end System Design
- Android and iOS development knowledge would be advantageous
- Provides advice on the transformation of data from one format/medium to another. Maintains and implements information handling procedures. Assesses the integrity of data from multiple sources
- Ensures the system design balances functional and non\-functional requirements
- Provides advice and guidance to support the adoption of methods and tools and adherence to policies and standards
- Designs specific components using agreed architectures, design standards, patterns and methodology
- Consolidates expertise from multiple sources, including third\-party experts, to provide coherent advice to further organisational objectives
- Uses appropriate modelling techniques following agreed software design standards, guidelines, patterns and methodology. Creates and communicates multiple design views to balance stakeholders' concerns and to satisfy functional and non\-functional requirements. Identifies, evaluates and recommends alternative design options and trade\-offs
