Development Engineer
About the Role
As a Development Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and standardizing manufacturing processes to support operational excellence across NOV's manufacturing operations. Working closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and R\&D teams, you will identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce costs, enhance product quality, and support the implementation of new manufacturing technologies.
This role combines hands\-on production support with strategic process development and continuous improvement initiatives in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will collaborate with global teams and act as a technical resource to support manufacturing performance, process stability, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Improve and optimize manufacturing processes across global production sites.
- Solve complex production challenges and provide hands\-on technical support.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, and cost performance.
- Support the introduction of new manufacturing technologies and processes.
- Partner with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and R\&D teams to drive operational excellence.
- Analyze production data and turn insights into measurable improvements.
- Develop and maintain process standards and technical documentation.
- Share expertise and support the development of engineers and technicians.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with Quality and HSE standards.
- Essential Qualifications \& Skills
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Min 3 years of experience in Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Production Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and process monitoring.
- Proven problem\-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience using data to drive process improvements and operational performance.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
