Development Engineer

About the Role

As a Development Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and standardizing manufacturing processes to support operational excellence across NOV's manufacturing operations. Working closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and R\&D teams, you will identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce costs, enhance product quality, and support the implementation of new manufacturing technologies.

This role combines hands\-on production support with strategic process development and continuous improvement initiatives in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will collaborate with global teams and act as a technical resource to support manufacturing performance, process stability, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Improve and optimize manufacturing processes across global production sites.


• Solve complex production challenges and provide hands\-on technical support.


• Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, and cost performance.


• Support the introduction of new manufacturing technologies and processes.


• Partner with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and R\&D teams to drive operational excellence.


• Analyze production data and turn insights into measurable improvements.


• Develop and maintain process standards and technical documentation.


• Share expertise and support the development of engineers and technicians.


• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with Quality and HSE standards.

Support manufacturing teams worldwide with a customer\-focused mindset.

• Essential Qualifications \& Skills

We're looking for someone who has:

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.


• Min 3 years of experience in Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Production Engineering.


• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and process monitoring.


• Proven problem\-solving and analytical skills.


• Experience using data to drive process improvements and operational performance.


• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Fluent English, written and spoken and preferred Danish.
