The Role

We are looking for an experienced Blue Prism Developer to join the Process Excellence \& Automation team at IWG. This role focuses on the delivery of high quality, scalable automations and continuous process improvements across multiple business functions.

The ideal candidate is a hands\-on Blue Prism specialist with extensive, *recent* experience developing automation solutions end\-to\-end.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Developers in this role spend 80% of their time actively developing automations in Blue Prism. You will engage primarily after analysis but will contribute technical insight during earlier phases to shape optimal solution design.

The successful candidate will demonstrate deep technical capability, a quality\-driven testing mindset, and solid experience deploying solutions into production environments.

Role \& Responsibilities

Process \& Solution Delivery

  • Optimization: Apply continuous improvement principles to enhance business processes and automations while adhering to strict change control.

  • Impact Analysis: Understand how new or updated automations affect broader business operations and customer experience.

  • Solution Design: Partner with Business Analysts and stakeholders to understand as\-is processes and design optimal, automated to\-be solutions.

  • Solution Development (80% of role):

  • + Build and maintain high quality automations in line with best practices

+ Deliver *a minimum of 8 completed automation projects per year*
  • Testing: Author detailed SIT and UAT test scripts and lead structured test cycles.

  • Deployment: Prepare deployment, scheduling, environment readiness, and Hypercare documentation.

  • Production Support: Assist with triage, RCA, and resolution of production incidents where needed.

Qualifications, Skills \& Experience

Technical Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

  • Mandatory recent Blue Prism experience \- within the past 3 years.
Candidates whose last Blue Prism work was *before 2020 will not be considered*.
  • Minimum 2\+ years hands\-on development experience with Blue Prism, including advanced concepts.

  • Blue Prism Professional Developer accreditation (non\-negotiable)

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver 8\+ completed automation projects per year in previous roles.

  • 2\+ years’ experience in software development or system configuration (C\#, C\+\+, Java, or equivalent).

  • Proven experience integrating Blue Prism with RESTful APIs and web services.

  • Solid understanding of Blue Prism architecture and infrastructure

  • Strong workflow logic capabilities and ability to interpret complex process maps.

Soft Skills \& Behaviours
  • Strong communicator capable of translating technical concepts into business language.

  • Highly analytical with strong problem\-solving abilities.

  • Experience mentoring junior team members is advantageous.

  • Detail oriented with a high personal standard for quality

  • Ability to work independently in a fast\-paced, global environment.
