Stormshield, the leading French publisher and a reference European player in cybersecurity, is a subsidiary of Airbus Defence and Space Cyber Programmes and offers innovative, certified and European‑level qualified security products for protecting networks and data. To continue our growth, we are looking for a C Linux Developer.

Managers of the SNS team, Kévin and Emmanuel are hiring to evolve and maintain our Stormshield Network Security firewall range. We are looking for motivated people with at least 5 years of experience and, ideally, a solid knowledge of TCP/IP networks.

What are the responsibilities of the C Linux Developer?
---------------------------------------------------------------

• Reproduce client issues and diagnose them;


• Maintain and evolve existing products;


• Develop new features within the embedded firmware of our products;


• Document the progress of your developments and/or the solution.

What is the technical environment?
------------------------------------------

• Technical stack: C, C\+\+, FreeBSD


• Ecosystem: Unix


• Virtualised environments: VMware

Which team?
-------------------

You will join one of the SNS teams managed by Kévin and Emmanuel. Each team is composed of about twenty people (Developers, Testers, Tech Leaders, Scrum Masters, Product Owner). You will become part of a Scrum Team of 5‑7 people (Scrum/Kanban). Teamwork is at the heart of our way of working because development is collaborative. Teams are self‑managed and own their delivery commitments.

Which product?
----------------------

You will work on Stormshield firewalls that make up our Stormshield Network Security (SNS) range. By securing the network, an enterprise firewall protects the company from the majority of cyber‑attacks. For more information about our products, visit our dedicated page on Stormshield firewalls.

A phone interview with a manager accompanied by their Tech Lead. This first meeting explains in more detail how the team works and the vision for the role.
