About Us
We are a new dessert ghost kitchen specialising in desserts and refreshing non\-alcoholic cold drinks. Operating exclusively through online delivery platforms and curb side pick ups, we are passionate about delivering high\-quality products, consistency, and exceptional customer experiences.
Looking for an experienced and creative Dessert Chef to join our team and help maintain our high standards while contributing new ideas to our evolving menu.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present a variety of desserts to a consistently high standard.
- Produce Brownies, school cakes, cheesecakes, sundaes, milkshakes, iced drinks, and other signature desserts.
- Ensure all orders are prepared efficiently to meet delivery time targets.
- Maintain consistency in portion sizes, presentation, and taste.
- Follow and develop standard recipes and preparation methods.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate ingredient requirements.
- Ensure all food is stored, handled, and prepared in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen environment at all times.
- Assist with menu development and seasonal specials.
- Minimise food waste and contribute to cost control.
- Work effectively under pressure during busy service periods.
- Minimum 1 years' experience working as a Dessert Chef in a dessert café, dessert takeaway, or ghost kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of dessert preparation and cold beverage production.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple orders simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good understanding of food hygiene and HACCP procedures.
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings and weekends.
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
- Experience working with online delivery platforms such as Uber Eats, Deliveroo, and Just Eat.
- Experience creating new dessert concepts and menu items.
- Knowledge of stock management and supplier ordering.
- Experience training junior kitchen staff.
