Designate Manager

We are looking for a Manager Designate to join our retail field team covering our home stores across Essex & North London.

This is a Manager Designate role where frequent travel will be required on a daily basis. You will need to have full flexibility to cover 5/7 days and working location may change on a daily and/or weekly basis.

You will need to be available to work 7 hours between 9am - 6pm as trading hours vary on a shop by shop basis.

What does this role involve?

The Manager Designate role enables individuals to maximise their training and development by gaining experience across different locations and fascia types with the purpose of being placed in a site when a vacancy for a Store Manager becomes available. The Manager Designate role supports BHF Retail division within a defined geographical area until the individual is permanently allocated to a shop or store within reasonable travelling distance.

The role will normally last no longer than 18 months before the individual is assigned to a permanent BHF site. During this time, the role supports both individual development and how to maximise sales and profit by the day-to-day running of shops and stores and allows knowledge to be built across the different site models.
