Design Manager - North Division
We are looking to strengthen our Engineering team with a Design Manager Based at a suitable location within our Northern Region office with flexible working available.

At MWH Treatment, you will play a key role in driving safe, buildable and cost\-effective design solutions from scope definition through to assurance, handover and construction support. Working with clients, designers, suppliers and construction teams, you will help turn complex requirements into practical, high\-quality outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead engineering and design delivery from scope definition through assurance, issue resolution and handover.
- Ensure all design work meets health and safety, quality, technical, environmental, sustainability and governance requirements.
- Manage design plans, deliverables schedules, decision logs, risk registers and monthly progress reporting.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering, delivery, commercial, planning, supplier and construction functions.
- Drive efficient, value\-led and low\-carbon design solutions while maintaining quality and programme commitments.
- Control design change, manage interfaces, provide early warnings and lead recovery actions where needed.
- Represent MWH Treatment professionally with clients, partners and internal stakeholders.
- Provide technical support during construction, assembly and commissioning where required.
