About the Role:We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher to join a secondary school in the Coventry and Warwickshire area on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and contribute to a supportive and dynamic department.You will be responsible for delivering engaging DT lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging creativity, innovation, and practical skills' development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Design & Technology lessons
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
- Maintain strong classroom management in line with school policies
- Contribute to departmental planning and development where required
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Proven UK secondary school teaching experience - essential
- Strong subject knowledge in Design & Technology
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- A flexible and adaptable approach
