Dermatologist

Apex Medical is looking for a bright, ambitious and meticulously minded Dermatologist to join our growing private medical clinic in Maidenhead.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants more than a traditional sessional role. We are looking for a clinician who is keen to build a substantial private dermatology practice, develop a long\-term relationship with the clinic and, for the right individual, potentially participate in the future growth of the business through an equity arrangement.

The Opportunity

Apex Medical will provide patient volume, clinic infrastructure, administration and marketing support, allowing the successful candidate to focus on delivering excellent clinical care and growing their dermatology practice.

Who We Are Looking For

We are particularly interested in someone who is:

• GMC registered and appropriately qualified to practise dermatology in the UK


• Experienced in assessing and managing common dermatological conditions


• Clinically safe, personable and patient\-focused


• Bright, energetic and ambitious


• Comfortable working within a private healthcare environment


• Interested in building their own patient base and reputation


• Commercially aware and interested in helping develop a growing service


• Reliable and looking for a long\-term partnership rather than simply occasional locum sessions

Experience in areas such as skin lesion assessment, mole checks, acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, hair loss, pigmentation and minor dermatological procedures would be particularly valuable.

Additional procedural experience, including biopsies, lesion removal, cryotherapy or other minor skin surgery, would be advantageous.

Remuneration

A competitive percentage split will be agreed based on experience, scope of practice and level of involvement.

Patient volume and operational support are provided by Apex Medical.

There is substantial potential for earnings to increase as the dermatology service develops.
