Deputy Retail Manager

• The day to day operation of the store, coaching and managing the team to deliver great service, availability and a positive lasting impression of Asia Market.


• Taking full accountability for the store when the Store Manager is not present


• Being the go to person for all colleagues for their day to day queries in the absence of the store manager.


• Leading communication in the store and creating an environment of two way communication


• Coaching and managing colleagues to enable them to deliver daily priorities and be in the right place at the right time to meet customer needs


• Review reports and systems to enable you to deliver the right improvements for customers and colleagues


• A role model for colleagues


• Leading the replenishment teams to deliver better availability, merchandising and shelf edge standards


• Creating an inspiring and welcoming working environment for customers and colleagues


• Location: Dublin 2/Dublin 12

To be successful in this role, you’ll need management skills and experience in a similar work environment. You will have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, Have a keen interest and passion in food.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar Position.


• Fluent spoken and written English


• Self\-motivated and ability to work on own initiative


• Strong leadership skills


• Strong retail sales skill set


• Meticulous attention to detail


• Highly organised


• Strong written and verbal communication skills


• Excellent customer service skills


• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel


• This role is a 40 hour role based on a 5 over 7 day week (Hours of work are between 8\-7\)


• Must be available both weekday's and weekend's

About Asia Market

Asia Market is a family run business, established in 1981\. It is one of Ireland’s largest importer, retailer, wholesaler and distributor of Asian food products. We operate two supermarkets; one in Drury Street in central Dublin and one at our Ballymount Distribution Centre. We stock over 5,000 lines of products and import over 350 containers a year. We supply to the majority of Asian restaurants, shops, caterers and take\-away’s in Ireland. Customers can take advantage of our delivery service where products are delivered throughout the Republic of Ireland using our dedicated fleet of vehicles.
